Storm is a 3-year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. He was purchased as a puppy by a young man who thought he was a Beagle. Storm was then passed to other family members, who got him neutered and up to date on shots, but in the end they knew they could not give him the life he deserved.

Storm is a very loving boy, smart and people-responsive.  He came to the shelter not house-trained, since he had been outside his whole life. He is doing phenomenal on house training and picking up other skills quickly, including how to sit, shake, and fetch.

Treeing Walking Coonhounds have high energy, enjoy going on walks and are eager to learn and please their people. Storm gets along with other dogs, but has chased cats outside so he would need to be on a leash or in a fenced yard when outside. Storm weighs 55 pounds.
